  • 24-inch guide closes 2-inch gaps; joins parlance and groove; can push or pull
  • Decking tool for one-actually straightening of deck boards
  • Depressed-gauge steel construction

Product Description

A deceptively sincere-looking tool, the BoWrench is a boon for both professional deck builders and do-it-yourselfers. The BoWench gives you a settled, one-person way to straighten decking boards. This is great, because decking lay--whether redwood, cedar, or another, more exotic rot-resistant wood--is often warped, specifically in 14- to 16-foot lengths. To go the BoWrench, you simply fit the tool on a joist, swing the lever arm, and release. You can either marching orders or pull boards into alignment, and when the handle is degrees to, the tool locks in place, holding the board securely and leaving you let out to drive nails or screws. The BoWrench is larger than toe nailing. Burying nails in the sides of decking to secretive gaps works, but it gives water more ways to insert the decking, which eventually leads to rot. With the BoWrench, you'll save point, create a longer-lasting surface, and enhance material. Using the special cam attachment (sold severally), the BoWrench replaces the clumsy beater balk as the best way to close gaps in tongue-and-striation plywood and paneling.

With the BoWrench, you'll save while, create a longer-lasting surface, and overstate material. Using the special cam attachment (sold one by one), the BoWrench replaces the clumsy beater design as the best way to close gaps in tongue-and-striation plywood and paneling. --Jon Groebner

Customer Reviews

Wow What A time Saver
I would recommend the BoWrench to any one building a deck, I was building a 12 by 34 foot deck and was about 8 feet into putting the deck down when I found the Bowrench on Amazon.com, I paid for the next day shipping, and it was worth, finishing the rest of the deck was a breeze.
Third Hand
Cepco Bowrench is the BEST thing since PEANUT BUTTER was founded. I should had purchase one 2 years ago instead of using the bar and muscle method.
Wow !!!
This is an amazing tool, and it was delivered in only a couple days. I was very impressed.
No longer is it necessary to spend all your time in the hardware store picking out boards. I just bought clean boards, but they were not perfect and had some warps. It takes no effort to straighten out the boards and you get to work hands free. This worked so well I called it "the stepson"

Do yourself a favor, but this tool for decking.
BoWrench rocks.
I wasn't sure this would be all that it was cracked up to be. I was reluctant to lay out the money. I feel it paid for itself on the first job through better productivity and less labor cost. Best new hand tool I have purchased in some time. It is versatile and easy to use. For the first time I could do deck treads by myself without all kinds of clamps and clutter in the way. Clever, simple design.
Amazing Tool
I'm building a 16'x14' deck on my house and I have no idea how I'd do it without this tool. Oddly enough I was looking for deck screws and saw this as one of those "if you like that you might like this". I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't seen it because up to that point I hadn't really thought about warped boards. I can't stress enough how easy this makes bending the boards into place. Since up to this point I've done most of the work myself, at times I've had to hold the tool with my leg while screwing the board down. Even while doing that, it's not too difficult. This is definitely a must have if you are building anything bigger than 4'x4'.

Good News for Consumers Looking to Reduce Environmental Footprint

VANCOUVER, Jan. 20 /CSRwire/ - As environmental footprint rises in substance with consumers making structure material choices, a newly released lifetime cycle assessment (LCA) found Western Red Cedar to be the most environmentally investigate option for siding and decking applications.

Majestic against competitive, alternate non-wood construction materials, the LCA performed by Canada's prime forestry experimentation laboratory, FPInnovations-Forintek, cautious the environmental bumping of various materials from cradle to earnest. The LCA was commissioned by the Western Red Cedar Encumber Association and released today at the Supranational Builders Shows in Las Vegas. Complex scrutiny was conducted on Western Red Cedar, WPC decking, chum, fiber-gum and vinyl against a tier of measurables such as resource use, dampen use, energy use, transportation and garbage created. Western Red Cedar practically outperformed in every group.
