How do i fix take apart my vessell sink faucet that leaks?

It is a single handle type.

It leaks from the top handle and I don't really know what to do with it to take apart and fix it.
Please help. I got it from Overstock.com so I can't just take it back.
ok. Found it.
The handle sticking out of the front screws on.
The stud that it screws onto, it has an inset in the middle of the stud for an allen wrench, Unscrew it and the top comes off.
New problem - nut on top does not have room for me to get a wrench or socket on it. Any ideas?
Try to turn the cap nut (the entire top that the handle attaches to) off. The cartridge should just lift out.
This faucet may have a ceramic cartridge or it may be a Delta clone style. If it has a cartridge then get a replacement. If it has a Delta style ball with springs and rubber seals, get a rebuild kit.
If you have a parts view this would be much simpler.

Somewhere near the top of the center post is a set screw you need to loosen (not remove) and the lever will lift off the post. Inside is a water mixing valve or diverter ball that lets hot or cold water flow in proportion to the handle position. The o-ring seals are bad. Go to your local hardware store and get an exact replacement, about $8.00 (U.S.) and put your faucet back together. If you get cold water out of the hot water side, you put the valve in backwards.

This product is wonderful but . . . don't think you can turn it off at the showerhead and leave the water on. Surprise surprise - you'll end up wet all over! The hose cannot withstand the pressure and it will come off at either the showerhead or the faucet. Otherwise, this product is just what you need. The hose is long, so it reaches to the back of the tub; dogs cannot sneak to the back beyond your reach. My favorite part is the nubs. They really help scrub the undercoat. I have pugs and this shower sprayer has helped "defur" them during bathtime. Just be sure to clean the drain!

Easy to install, Like the water flow control
The quality is pretty nice and I have an overall very good impression of this pet shower head and hose. With the quick-connect, quick-disconnect fitting that comes with it, the shower head and hose won't need to be in our shower unless we're washing our dog at the time. The fitting itself is white and is attached to the pipe behind your existing shower head. Your existing shower head is removed, but then put right back in its place.
A little detail on my installation experience: I installed this pet shower a couple of hours ago. The only tool I needed was an adjustable wrench to loosen the fitting at the back of my shower head. After loosening it, I untightened it the rest of the way by hand and then the shower head was resting in my hand and I put it aside for a couple of minutes until I screwed on the Bamboo shower fitting. Your same shower head then screws back on, but it screws onto the Bamboo shower fitting you just attached. Your existing/standard shower head then stays there and doesn't have to be removed again.
I've changed maybe a dozen or more shower heads in various apartments and homes over the past 20 years, and they have all used the same size pipe and threads. My current shower head has the same size pipe and threads and the Bamboo Pet Shower fitting screwed onto it perfectly. I noticed that one of the other reviews said that the Bamboo fitting did not match the pipe size. That must have been the case for that reviewer, but it's surprising to me because those pipe sizes have been so consistent for me. No problem here.
The Bamboo Pet Shower package comes with a little roll of white teflon tape to make a nice seal. I wrapped about 5 or 6 inches of this tape around the threads on the shower head pipe (it went around about three times) and then screwed on the Bamboo adapter/fitting just like it shows in the Bamboo instructions. Easy. The Bamboo fitting has pipe threads that your old shower head is screwed onto. I wrapped two or three rounds of white teflon tape around those threads and then screwed on my old shower head. Done with that.
There is also a connection for hose-spigot sized screws in the package. I didn't need that connection.
The Bamboo shower head and hose connects to the fitting that was just installed with a couple of quick-connects. They really are quick. It took a second to snap the hose on to the new fitting behind my shower head, and another second to snap the pet shower head to the other end of the 8-foot hose. Super easy. It also takes just a second to remove the hose from the fitting up near the old shower head. No leaking. Good. I stored the hand-held Bamboo shower head and its hose under my sink when I was done.
The pet shower head/wand has a little lever for adjusting the water force coming out. It works great and was easy to move, from no water to fast water. A low water flow of warm water worked great for my dog. I could also turn off the water completely with my thumb and put it down when lathering some shampoo into his coat. No water splashed into his eyes or my eyes when I was rinsing his body. Cool.
The little soft rubbery nubs on the shower head help a little, but not so much on the legs and such for my dog. They aren't always needed. Noodles didn't mind them. Every pet may have their own opinion, but the nubs are soft enough that there probably won't be many objections.
I can't think of anything to change about the whole product. I like it. Five stars here.
LOVE this product!
This is a great product. It is super sturdy with nice tough plastic. The hose is the perfect length and very easy to twist or turn any way you'd like. I love that it allows you to adjust the strength of the water flow. The little curry comb-like projects on the face of the shower head can be used to brush through the fur which helps to dig deep into the coat and flush out any leftover shampoo residue. Bath time used to be a very stressful ordeal but this product has made cleaning my little dog so much more easy and enjoyable for the both of us.

Doesn't fit all showers
Agree with other reviewers that have said that it is a high-quality product, seems less cheap than some plastic pet showers like this.
Big drawback, however, is that this doesn't fit onto my showerhead or tub spigot. I wish that there were some additional specifications about this product when I purchased it, so that I could have checked the fit before buying.
I am returning this because it doesn't fit - useless if it doesn't screw into the showerhead properly!

The best
I replaced my junky flimsy wimpy broken dog shower from Walmart with this one. WOW. The quality for the price is wonderful. If you have been looking look no more. This is the perfect dog shower system for the price. And it will not break right away. It is not made out of that shatter type cheap plastic. This is heavy duty. I just leave it in my shower too.
