How do celebrities with millions live with themselves?

....Knowing people like 16 year olds on here are asking how to find a bed frame for their mattress, or a woman is asking how to get a ride to her third job? How do celebs or the ultra rich justify a gold plated faucet fixture or think they are cool on the red carpet in a dress costing thousands?
yeah, I'd have to say that I heard a stupid actress, I think cameron diaz say that Jennifer anniston was contributing to global warming by brushing her teeth in the shower.....I laughed at the time, how pitiful to think that using gallons of water to brush instead of standing at the sink with no water is somehow saving anything....and most do drugs because they have the money to and nothing else to do..it's pitiful

I think alot of celebrities had tough lives themselves when they were younger. Some. Not all..like paris hilton? wtf? I'm not saying she has no problems, but someone like Britney worked hard to get to where she was. I feel for her really. Her dad was an alcoholic and she was dirt poor. She had to enter talent competitions to make ends meet for her family.

Not all of them are like that. A lot of them give to charities and such. The ones who don't are probably quite self centered and greedy. It's a shame, isn't it?

Seriously though, you shouldn't look at all celebrities that way. In fact, there are many stars who are heavily involved in charities. The mother from Malcolm in the Middle donates dresses that she wears to events, for example.
If you were given exhorbitant amounts of money, wouldn't you indulge -- even just a little? Money is the root of all evil, yet it's essential to survive, and allows us to buy things that make us feel good in general.

I'm sure a lot of those self-absorbed celebs aren't interested enough in how the rest of the world lives to even take notice. Do you really think Paris Hilton reads Newsweek and watches the evening news? Some celebs have a social conscious, but most of them pay lip service to it and others don't even bother to pretend they're interested.

Most celebrities worked hard to achieve fame and fortune and probably think they have the right to live a certain lifestyle. They are expected to live a certain way, dress a certain way, and they need constant security. Many of them have donated millions of dollars to charity and are involved with them. What is a celeb like Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, or Tyra Banks supposed to do? Give away all their money and go live in the slums?

Some people have a sunny attitude to Life,others have what Churchill used to call his black dog. The money only helps to cushion the depression if you are that way built.Like Marvin the Paranoid Android in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy,
"Brain the size of a planet".........Knowing you have the resources to do something about it doesn't always help.

Even gold-plated faucets do not compensate for lack of purpose, as evidenced by jaded celebrities. "Ú I wish that laugh tracks would be forever banished from TV and that programs advertised as comedy were truly funny instead of asinine.
