how do you clean a grohe faucet?
May 07, 2006 by Tom L | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I am going to assume that you have mineral deposits inside and on your faucet because other cosmetic dirt can easily be removed using soap and water. Mineral deposits can be dissolved using a product like "Lime-Away". You may want to shut off the water supply, remove and take apart the faucet, and soak all of the parts in this type of product. A thorough cleaning, new faucet washers, and reassembly should rejuvinate the look and functionality of your faucet.
Good luck with your project.

There is no hot water flowing from my Grohe faucet.?
Dec 09, 2008 by 4lak4 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Changed the cartridge but no hot water.Another faucet in the same bath has hot water as does the rest of the house.
Check the shut off valve, and make sure water is flowing through it. Sometimes they break, and even though you turn the handle, no water comes out. Disconnect the supply line from the faucet, and put it in a bucket, and turn the valve on to check the flow of water through it. Good luck!

How do I adjust a Grohe temperature shower control?
Jul 21, 2008 by Danny | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
We have a shower with a Grohe faucet that "holds" the temperature at a specific level. It works fine, but is hotter than it says (if you turn it to 80 degrees, it holds steady at like 100, if you put it at 70, it holds it steady at like 90, etc.). How do I adjust it so that the temperature is right?
As an aside, does anyone know how this faucet works?
your best bet is to go to the manufacture's website. they usually have parts breakdowns and instructions for such things.

Click on the spare parts. It seems it uses a ceramic insert.

Contact Grohe and they should send you the parts needed.
