How do I change the O rings in a Peerless faucet?
Jul 22, 2007 by ohio_mike | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
My Peerless faucet is dripping and I was told it would be easier and cheaper to change the O rings instead of the faucet. So I need to know how to do that.
Take the model no. to lowes or home depot get a repair kit for the faucet. The instructions will be in the kit.

I changed the O rings in my peerless bathroom faucet, but now the water won't turn off?
Jul 29, 2007 by ohio_mike | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I changed the seats and springs in the stems of the faucet and I turned the water on and water came out of the faucet and you can't control it with the valves on the faucet.
I changed the seats and springs not the O rings. The guy at lowes said that was what needed to be changed.
Start by checking to see that the new seats and springs remained in place when the faucet was reassembled. Next check to see the the ball was installed correctly. Make sure that the cam washer is tightened enough to prevent a leak at the top of the faucet but not too tight as to restrict movement of the handle.

How do you stop a dripping washerless peerless bathroom sink faucet?
Mar 04, 2007 by Robin | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have taken the handle off, and made sure the base is as tight as it can get, but when I turn the water back on, it still drips. (this is the hot water side.) Any ideas short of replacing the faucet will help.
I had one like that and theres a little part that has to be replaced in it. It's probably a washerless faucet. It has a worn ceramic part thats a little bigger than a erasor on a pencil. There are kits at the big stores. Try Lowe's or Home Depot.
Theres also a phone number for peerless faucets and they'll help you if you have trouble. I had trouble and they were very patient and helpful. Anyway I fixed it.

Does Peerless make good bathroom (shower) faucets. I only know of Moen, Kohler, Delta, etc...?

I have used most of the ones you listed. The one with the least amount of problems, in terms of high durability and low repair, is Delta. Remodeling is always a hassle, no?
Good luck and GOD bless.
