installing a pegasus faucet?
Apr 13, 2007 by melissa k | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I am trying to install a pegasus bathroom faucet for my bathtub. There seems to be some sort of button on the back of the faucet. I can't figure out it's purpose, but it has to do something because even though I've tightened up all the screws the faucet is still loose. Does anyone know how to install it properly?
no instructions? If you can take a picture of it, I may be able to help.

I bought a faucet at Home Depot three years ago and need parts. Is there any contact info for Pegasus faucet?

I keep looking online and the company doesn't seem to exist. Is this line of faucets made just for Home Depot by a larger faucet manufacturer? This kitchen faucet has a pull out sprayer and the rubber spray/stream button cover has turned into rubber crumbs.
I had no trouble finding information on Paegasus faucet's online. Finding parts may be more difficult. Not all faucets are made to be repaired these days. Good Luck.

Where can I find parts for a Pegasus tub and shower faucet, Series 1000?

Where can I find parts for a Pegasus tub and shower faucet, Series 1000? I know Home depot makes it, they are out of stock for the entire set, however I need just the main round cover for the valve and the stem cover (behind the handle). Thank you in advance for your advise. Bill
go to a real plumbing store and if they don't carry that brand they will order it for you or tell you where to get it. Also look up their website.

How do I adjust the scald guard on a Pegasus shower faucet?
Nov 23, 2006 by turleygirlie24 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I am getting no hot water to my shower head because the scald guard is set incorrectly. I do get hot water to my bathroom sink. How can I adjust the setting without going through my walls or calling a plumber?
Remove the single handle. Make sure the water to the house id off. There should be a ring with a tab on the spline that stops the handle from turning too far. remove the ring and the retaining clip. Rotate the ring either right or left to increase the hot water or reduce it. The scald guard keeps the water at the temp that the unit is set to. The unit only controls the mix in the valve, if you kept the instructions it is there. You may also go to the place you purchased the unit and ask for a photo copy of the instructions.
