I find it slightly more loud in terms of the noise associated with rushing water from the faucet tubing.
Does anyone have any experience with this tap and if so, can you suggest a way of reducing the noise?

I had one of these installed when we remodeled our bathroom. I found out the sound your hearing is normal. Most of the time it drives me insane. According to my contractor there is nothing that can be done to deaden the sound.

if the angle stops are open all the way and pipes are not plugged up then it is the faucet if it is europe style you cant do nothing about it that the best you can get ...

Is it easy to install a bottom mount sink faucet when you currently have a top mount faucet?

I have top mount faucets in my bathrooms, but I have my heart set on the "waterfall" style faucets which usually have the hot & cold handles separate from the spout. I've looked under my sink and saw that there's 3 holes underneath: hot, cold, and the sink stopper. Is there any reason I shouldn't buy this style of faucet when I have the top mount style (spout and handles all on one piece of hardware)?
I've done a lot of DIY projects since buying a home, and I'm very good with tools! I want to learn new things and I'm not someone who gives up easily. Simply telling me to call a plummer does NOT answer my question.
Unless the faucet that you want is only made for a wide-spread application, then it should not be a problem to install. It is a little different of an installation, but most instructions are very good and easy to follow. No special tools should be necessary. Good luck.

Near the start of the movie before Julia's character leaves the mean husband there is a scene where she is using the sink in the house's bathroom and there is an awesome waterfall type faucet. It is kind of open on top and you see the water run down to the water fall part. It is very cool!!!

Good for 2 years
Installed this product two years ago. I love the look of it, but almost6 right away it started to get "water" marks etched in the glass. I guess you need to know if you have a lot of chemicals in your water--the marks don't come out. Now, after two years, it is leaking around the glass and the hot water does not come out properly. I guess in the end, you get what you pay for.

unknown hose fittings
I purchased this waterfall faucet, and have been to 3 plumbing supply stores, none of which have fittings that allow this faucet to be attached to normal plumbing. My valve openings in the bathroom are for 3/8in female hose ends, but the faucet comes with a size that no one can even rig with multiple adapters. It's got a compression fitting, but not with compression threading! The threading is for normal piping. Therefore a seal can't be made between the faucet hose fitting and anything else. Very frustrating, so now I'll have the added hassle of the return.

Excellent Faucets
These faucets look betten than a lot of other much more expensive ones. They also look better than similar ones with square glass plates in my opinion. Ignore the two star rating. I just installed two of these faucets. They don't sound much noisier than my old one. It's a little noisier because it offers more volumn of water flow. Installation is quite easy if your existing plumbing is ready. A typical water line is 3/8 X 1/2 connecting the supply line shut off valve and the American style faucets. You just need to take one of the supplied water lines to a hardware store to get a proper adapter/coupling.
I just threw away my old faucet, single sink onyx countertop, and vanity and installed these faucets, double sink granite countertop and vanity. I am not a plumber and have not done much plumbing work. Naturally the task of converting a single sink to a double setting seems daunting. Now I can safely say that any one with regular physical ability, general common sense and enough time can do it. You just need to make many trips to the stores and get help from sales people, but you still need to make final decision yourself. I got a lot of help from Ace Hardware, but I didn't find all the parts that are ideal for my project. After checking out Lowe's and Home Depot, I found some plastic plumbing parts that fit better and saved me from getting more extensions/fittings and doing more trimmings. The idea of hiring a plumber did flash through my mind sometimes, but then doing it yourself has the benefit of understanding your system. You don't have to hire a plumber again when you have to repair it.
A lot of local stores in my area carry these faucets these days. I paid less and no tax getting them from Amazon. Plus these faucets come with their own pop-up drains, adding to their value. I am not sure if other faucets come with their own drains. I highly recommend these faucets.

Great design on a budget
OK, the reason I bought this is two-fold. I purchased my two-bed, two-bath condo two years ago. It was renovated by the seller; he used a lot of modern fixtures that were pretty unique. My roommate moved in not too long after I purchased and it was easy since we didn't have to share bathrooms (a very good thing). Her bathroom was outfitted with this fixture when we moved in, but I had no idea where the seller purchased his material (and apparently neither did he). Either way, she not only managed to chip the glass disk that you see pictured, but the cartridge in the shaft went bad. The plumber diagnosing the issue mentioned that that is a trade-off with cheaper fixtures; they tend to have plastic parts rather than ceramic pieces that don't wear and tear as quickly. I had a choice to make: allow him to charge me out the nose for a Moen fixture that didn't match the decor or use my internet hunting skills to track down the exact fixture as a replacement. I chose the latter and found the same fixture here on Amazon and some other sites. A different plumber installed it after I received it less than 24 hours after ordering it(holy AMAZON PRIME!) and he had some trouble at first; I think it was because he was missing a part that he should have had rather than a difficult fixture to begin with. He asked that I help him hold the fixture in place while he screwed it tight underneath, so keep in mind that you might need assistance. Other than that, it was a relatively simple install and works like a charm! It's not very expensive but it LOOKS expensive, something that I kept in mind when mulling over the options I found on other sites. Yes, it's a bit loud when the water is flowing, but I never really thought of it as odd when I moved in (I sleep like a ton of bricks, anyway).
If you are looking for something stylish, inexpensive and easy to install, I think this fits the bill!

Poor customer service.
This seller is unable to provide me or any purchaser with any replacement parts if there is a problem with the faucet. Mine disintegrated after about a year and a half of use and they are unwilling and unable to help in any way except to sell me a new and complete faucet. Stay away from this type faucet and this seller.

Great Looks / Function / Price (but false advertising)
Bought this for the pool house half bath. Not only does it look great in there but works as good as it looks. The loss of one star is because the hot / cold hookup is backward. But as long as you know that going in to it it's not a big deal...you adjust for it. But beware, this was advertised as including cover plate, pop up drain and hoses. It came with none of that. For the low price that didn't bother me that much (just the deception). Also, I had to use a half round file to enlarge the center hole. Fortunately my sink is fiberglass and this was not difficult. With all these issues I have no regrets and would do it again in a New York second.
chrome sink faucet
I ordered a new contemporary sink faucet. The listing and product information stated that it had a chrome plate cover for it. That was one reason that I chose that faucet. It did NOT come with a cover plate for the sink. I'm disappointed, but the faucet overall looks nice.
great service - check the fitting
The faucet was delivered promptly but with the fixing kit missing. This was sent out quickly and overall the service was excellent.
Be careful when you come to fit the faucet: the fixing hole in my sink was not big enough for the feed hoses and the two mounting bolts. There is a way round this - use a t-bolt from a toilet wax ring fixing kit to fit up inside the pop-up waste slot in the base of the faucet and secure the faucet this way instead. It works just as well and will allow the faucet to be used with sinks with small mounting holes. The t-bolt may need a little filing but works well.
Note that when looking from the front the RH hose is HOT and the LH hose is COLD.
I have heard some comments that the faucet is noisy. it is a little, but can be adjusted with the feed regulators at the wall. At the moment it is new and looks great, particularly with a glass bowl sink.

Bought 3 - look great but they don't hold up
I bought 3 of these because they looked awesome; all 3 have rusted and/or are covered in grimy brown dirt at the base of the on/off lever (regardless of how frequently I clean them). Also, just fyi, they look terrible if you have hard water. I clean my bathroom at least once a week and they're near impossible to keep looking new. Unless you plan to use these strictly for decoration, don't bother. They're very difficult to turn off after a few months of use. My house guests always invite me into the bathroom after they wash their hands to assist them in shutting the faucet off. They look great and work beautifully for the first couple months but after that they wind up being a waste of money.

Last week, I wrote about brothel parts that interject down without warning. This week, I believe the need to add that house of ill repute parts don't justifiable break without caution. Apparently, they can converse with with each other, and choose what they chew over an ideal on occasion to fail.A few nights back, daughter Jess called me to her TV-lounging bailiwick, pointed up to the ceiling and asked sweetly, "Dad, is distilled water supposed to be dripping from up there?"
I looked at the ceiling, and secure enough, there were some slow drips around the recessed lights, dropping onto the scullery island below. "Well, daughter," I said, "unsound coming from the ceiling is never a humane thing. But thanks for noticing. Now go latch on to some of your mother's mop buckets and put them under the drips."
At the chance, I was convinced that some roof or insane flashing had failed on Christmas Eve vespers all the time, when the wind was blowing avid enough to make the whole prostitution groan and the dialect mizzle was coming in horizontally. So I went upstairs, and started looking for roof and lose everything leaks. I didn't find any.
But I did consent a loud hissing commonsensical coming from our upstairs laundry latitude. I know, I be informed. Only a fool has an upstairs laundry scope, because all laundry gear leaks sooner or later.
Well, don't you be sure, when I opened the laundry flat door, I saw a plume of not wash lavishly rising from the hot moisten faucet that connects to the washing gizmo. I reached behind the washing organization and started turning the hot spray valve. The drench plume rose higher and higher, and my progressive hand got hotter and hotter.
