I have installed pergo flooring about three years ago the tiles are now seperating. A friend told me to buy a pergo filler and close he gaps and install the filler between the wall and the pergo gaps true?
Not true. The boards will move, the filler will fall down, the floor will look like garbage. Instead you can glue the boards back together using laminate installation glue. Fill the gaps with glue and tap them back together using a pull bar made for this purpose. You can buy the glue and the pull bar in the flooring dept. of any major home improvement store.

It has either a moister problem or the floor is too cold.
The problem will not be resolved with a filler. You need to find the source of the problem and fix that first.
Then you can add a filler to fill the gaps.

How to remove light scratches from Laminate (such as Pergo) Flooring.?

We have Laminate flooring from Pergo, there are some light scratches caused by kids riding tricycle on it. The previous answer on Yahoo answers recommended to use Murphy's Oil, but according to their web page Murphy's oil only works on hardwood floors.
well i would probably first try something like Murphys oil or furniture polish just to see it it would work, sometimes it does. murphy's oil isn't intended for laminate flooring but it does help cover certain blemishes such as very light scratches. if oil or furniture polish didn't work i would get some paste wax and rub it in then polish it up to match the sheen of the rest of the floor, if THAT didn't work id clean the wax off and use a crayon of a similar color to scrub into the scratch the buff all the excess off with a rag, it wouldn't be flawless but a crayon will always mask scratches, laminate or real wood doesn't matter.

I accidentally used a wood floor cleaning product manufactured by Orange Glo that was a polish as well. It has left a stain on my pergo flooring. I have purchased and tried other laminate floor cleaners and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
This happened to me before....I had to replace the piece. Remember, pergo is laminate flooring unlike actual hard wood that can be re-stained.

We have Pergo flooring in our 2000 Sq Ft home and are putting new flooring down. We hate the idea of just throwing away good flooring and would like to know if we could take it up and install it in our 900 Sq Ft rental home. We would not use it for the entire 900 SqFt home as we would exclude the bathroom and possibly the small den leaving only the two bedrooms, a small walkway, the kitchen, and the living room.
Like the 1 st answer said yes it can be done if it wasn t the old t/g glue together type.. If it was installed in the last 5/6 years than there s an excellent chance it is the locking system. More than 6/7 years old then you may or may not have a glue system. This is about when they fazed out the old and brought in the locking system Sounds like you ll have plenty by the way you talk GL

Can you put pergo flooring on top of a good solid tile floor?

Being that pergo is a floating floor it would be all right to put it on a good level tile floor right. Would I have to put a thin pad down?
From my experience, even the most level looking tile floor still isn't as level as it appears. You run the risk of having waves, humps or bumps in the pergo after it is down. A laminate floor can show the least amount of out of level because of it uniform sheen.
If I were putting over a tile floor, I would consider using some leveling compound to be sure it really was level and smooth. Then I would use the manufacturers recommended underlayment to help pad the floor and give is a smooth surface to move on as it expands and contracts.

Great product, shipping/pricing ok
I bought 2 cartons of this to make a chairmat for my wife's home office. The stuff looks great and is durable and I placed it right over the carpet, a really easy install. I ended up wanting to do half of the entire room rather than just under her desk and filing cabinet because it didn't look complete. I looked at my trusty Amazon.com again, and it went from $20 a carton to $51 within a few days. I thought I was looking at the wrong item. I looked at other websites and because other websites charge for shipping, Amazon.com still ended up being the cheapest. So if you see it for a low price again, GRAB IT... I'm not sure why it went up so quickly!! And the shipping was just ok. In each of the cartons, there was 1 damaged plank that I "hid" under the filing cabinet...but there really should have been better cushioned packaging for something like this. It came in the manufacturer's box with no shipping cushion whatsoever and the cardboard box was torn, exposing the planks. There was also tape, either from the shipping company or Amazon, that was stuck to the plank. So, if you plan on ordering this in a permanent room that is going to get alot of visiblity (not for something temporary like a chairmat) then I'd recommend going to home depot or lowes so that you can carefully inspect these and safely get these back home. The 4 stars are because the shipping is free (with prime) while other websites charged over $120,the price ($20) was awesome,and the product itself is really, really nice. Minus a star because packaging for shipment needs improvement and the price more than doubled in a few days.

Nice Product - Bad Packing and Handling
This Pergo flooring is attractive and reasonably easy to install but about 20% of the product was slightly damaged. The heavy boxes where shipped in much larger boxes and were difficult to manage even by the FedEx driver. The corners on several planks were slightly damaged as a result of shifting in the oversized shipping box. Although the price was OK I would still call this premium laminate and to get it in the condition it arrived in was regrettable. I would not recommend buying flooring from a supplier (Amazon) that does not have experience shipping such items.

For the price I paid, I feel like I made a very good purchase for a very useful collection of items for putting down floating floors. The pull bar could be a bit better, although it does the job - the tapping block is excellent. The spacers that I got were just black, not colored as shown in the picture. I do recommend this product, but if you can get a decent pull bar and a tapping block at a lower price and do away with the spacers (just cut some leftover flooring for spacers), I would probably take that route. Oh by the way, this is made in Sweden, kind of a rarity in the States, and certainly beats being made in you-know-what country.

Eco-friendly and works well
I first saw this product at a "Green fair." It does a very good job cleaning floors, including spills and scuff marks (when paired with the Bona microfiber cleaning cloth.BonaKemi AX0003005 Microfiber Floor Cleaning Cloth, Twin Pack). It also drys fairly quickly and does not have the harsh smell that other cleaners have. The only drawback is the need to spray either the floor or the mop head repeatedly as you go through the room. I believe Bona remedied this issue with their new product line.
