Does anyone know how to mount Speed Tech Lights, such as the Quad Pro, to the top of the windshield?
Nov 28, 2008 by Justin P | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I want the light to snug up againsted the windshield and the headliner, giving it the 'stealth' appearance, but have no idea how to mount it. The stock suction cups just don't work for my configuration.
there is a cross-member that is right above your visors best way is to pull the visors and drop the front part of the headliner and be sure where your drilling so you don't miss the cross-member or hit any wires(some cars have lighted mirror wires) use 100% silicone on any bolt holes to seal them up.

Impressive! I don't know where you are geographically but I would start hitting the local venues and Showcasing to live bands. I would also contact Churches and Schools and offer a discount. Just like a Band, you need to build a following and a Rep. Look for a web based musicians message board in your area and advertise. It's probably free. Put a quick website together.

Where can I find a nail tech in Yuma, Arizona who uses Light Concept gel products.?
Nov 06, 2008 by Barbara G | Posted in Other - Beauty & Style
I'm a snowbird - living in Yuma for the winter and would like to find a nail salon with a tech using Light Concept gel products. I tried to find one last year without any luck, but was hoping to find someone who recently moved here who knows the process and uses the product.
The most accurate and dependable way of locating an authentic LCN nail tech in your area would be to call LCN at their company's U.S.A. Headquarters which is located in Connecticut. They are very helpful, and I'm sure you would be able to get help from them. Their number is 800-86-NAILS. Their web site is at : http://www.lcnusa.com
I hope this helps.

How hard is it to find a Tech Theater job?
Apr 29, 2007 by Heidi | Posted in Theater & Acting
There are a few things that I am wondering.
I love doing tech theater stuff (lights, sound, love it all), but I am wondering how hard it is to find a job in that area. Also, is it possible to find a job in tech theater that does not require you to work on Sunday? If not, is there any job out there that deals with theater, or behind the scenes work where you don't have to work on Sunday? Do you have a recommendation?
It's not hard. Crew members are always needed. Try looking here:
http://www.backstagejobs.com
A LOT of theatre techs have college educations, with training in technical theatre. (This includes positions such as: set designers, lighting designers, technical directors, stage managers, etc.), but I'm pretty sure you can get a crew position with a non-union company with a little persistance.
Working on Sundays, on the other hand, is pretty much a necessary evil in the industry. (This also includes every genre professional performance technician from Broadway to corporate events, to rock venues.) The schedule usually changes constantly, and the hours are usually long.

What would i use for controling Humidity, Tempature, Fresh Air Flow, c02 Levels, Light. A high tech grow room.
Sep 09, 2007 by trtr g | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
I am looking for a high tech grow room. you would probly use all this for plants. put i want to grow shitaki mushrooms, and i need all this stuff to have it perfect. do you know where i could find something like this to have in full rooms of fungi or plants. or how to make this stuff my self.
I guess you are not worried that the dampness will in fact spread throughout the house and cause damage in other locations of the house, not to mention the constant humidity will not only help your mushrooms grow but many other types of mold. You really should do this in a concrete type of building
